This generous villa is located in the extremely popular Santa Margarita development on the La Duquesa side of La Linea. With six bedrooms and four bathrooms, the property is ideally located for those wanting access to Gibraltar’s amenities and the relaxed Costa del Sol lifestyle. The property requires some renovation; however, more than adequate concessions have been made in the price to allow for this. An internal viewing is highly recommended!

HOUSE PURCHASE PROCESS IN SPAIN
Before purchasing a property or even signing a private contract, it is advisable to contact a lawyer to verify that all the documents are in order. It is important to grant them a power of attorney so they can represent you before the Tax Office and sign the deeds on your behalf.
The lawyer has a legal obligation to act on your behalf, which means they must work on your behalf and represent you throughout the entire purchase process.
If the property is already built, a private contract is first signed to bind both parties and set a date for signing the deeds.
This document will establish the payments to be made and the completion date for both the seller and the buyer. For this process, it is advisable to open a bank account in Spain.
Your lawyer can open the account in your name, but banks may require the account holder to be in Spain three months beforehand to meet with them in person.
Generally, the final payment is completed at the same time as the deeds are signed, as long as all property documents are in order.
After signing the deeds, your lawyer will register the property in the Property Registry.
At GIA HOME GROUP, we support you throughout the entire purchase process, assisting you with our trusted lawyers from start to finish.
